The Peacock by =Atramina - It's a personal pride for me to be able to feature this gorgeous piece of artwork. Not only has it a vivid beautiful feel but I know how hard the artist has worked to reach to this level, and at lightning speed too! I highly recommend the rest of her gallery, such a beautifully flourishing artist. An inspiration to many!

I love big katanas XD
No, seriously, I wanted to draw a peacock-style kimono for a long time, and now I've finally done. Hardest: Obi and kimono pattern.
Not so much to say... ^^'
Feel free to critique with sense C:

Thank you so much, ^ctJemm, for the Daily Deviation.

To start I’d like to apologize to you for people thinking this is an item from Gaia. From looking at your comments I could tell that you had no clue. So I am sorry… Anyways,
This piece of art is very well done.

What drew me to want to comment and critique this piece is the peacock bow. Go figure. It’s known that peacock feathers attract the attention of other creatures with them. Anyways, I like the textile pattern on the kimono, as well as the obi. They are both beautiful, and shows off her body very well. Her eyes are very hypnotizing, and her facial features are done very well.

The tree trunks and branches seem to be a little on the thin side, and doesn’t look like they could support the weights of the leave, so doesn’t look very realistic. The trees and the temple in the back are lacking in detail. A little more time spent on these would have made the piece even more amazing.

Even with all of that, I still think this is a beautiful piece and one I love soon. So all I have to say is well done with this piece, you did an amazing job, and I hope to see more astounding pieces from you! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="15" height="15" alt=":aww:" title="Aww - :aww:"/>

Please forgive the critique if it sucks, I'm still learning to give good ones.
